If you are local and decide to hand deliver your photograph, you can bring it to:
The Art League of Baytown
110 W. Texas Ave, Baytown, Tx 77520
Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 11 am and 5 pm. If you need to make arrangements to deliver the work later than these dates or hours of business, contact Steve at vicepresident2@artleagueofbaytown.org, leave your phone number with your message and we will work something out. You can pick up your image once the exhibition is over between February 14 and February 26 on Thursday, Friday or Saturday between 11am and 5pm. Again, if this is inconvenient, contact Steve at the afore mentioned email for other arrangements.
The maximum physical dimension for 2D work is 36" on the longest side including the frame. All 2D work must be ready to hang with wire hangers. Sawtooth hangers will not be accepted. Artists are encouraged to use white or off white mats and either black or white frames if the work is framed. If the work is under glass you are required to use acrylic instead of glass if shipping your work. Glass is easily broken during shipping and nothing ruins our day more than opening a box full of broken glass. We will seal it up and ship it right back. However, if you are hand delivering your framed work and agree to pick it up after the exhibition, glass is acceptable.
3D hanging are should weigh no more than 15 pounds. 3D free standing are must be no more than 70 inches at its longest dimension and weigh no more than 75 pounds.
Please do not ship work with packaging peanuts. Artists shipping their work must use good quality reusable packaging. ALB cannot be responsible for damage or loss during transit. ALB will not be responsible for normal wear and tear during the exhibition. Remember though, we are artists too and will always treat your creations as we would want someone to treat ours.
Delivery and return of artwork to and from the Art League of Baytown (ALB) is the artist's responsibility, including insurance. Shipped work must include a prepaid return shipping label. We will not ship work back to any artist without a prepaid return shipping label.
